AMC is all set to offer NFTS to stock owners since their Spider-Man giveaway was a HUGE success. Some time ago, AMC accepted another cryptocurrency deal with Bitcoin, as well. This is another huge decision regarding the company delving deeper into the digital currency space.

The Leawood, Kansas-based movie-theater company mentioned that current members of its investor program–titled Investor Connect– as well as anyone that joins in by purchasing stock by the end of 2021 shall receive an NFT.

A Monday press release had them say “As AMC Investor Connect is a program designed solely for self-identified AMC shareholders, the image contained in this NFT is that of a moving and a glimmering gold embossed medallion which proudly proclaims, ‘I Own AMC.'”

At the end of November, AMC offered 86,000 digital tokens to anyone who purchased their first tickets to Spider-Man: No Way Home, thus entering the NFT space with their giveaway. This offering proved to be profitable for the movie chain as it generated its second-best one-day sales for the premiere of the film, according to AMC Chief Executive Officer Adam Aron. He’s now known for reaching out to the various retail traders that back the company.

It should be noted that this isn’t the first time AMC saw a trending moment and seized the opportunity. The company has been investing in meme stock as well, even accepting cryptocurrencies, and even wishes to add Shiba Inu, the meme-coin next.

The popularity of NFTs cannot be disputed at this point, thanks to the roaring debate on the internet by enthusiasts that all claim that NFTs are the key to unlocking the next iteration of the internet.
